I'm Tyler Benedict. I've built and sold media brands, disrupted an entire industry's publishing landscape, and launched products that reached millions. Now I'm building Squirrel Fitness to make exercise accessible to the 100,000,000+ Americans who aren't working out but want to.
See What I'm Building
One exercise per day. That's it. Squirrel strips away the complexity, the expensive equipment, and the intimidation factor. We use foundational movements and minimum effective doses to help anyone build real strength and consistency — no gym required.
Built from scratch into the world's largest cycling tech blog — 4M+ monthly pageviews, millions of global readers. Completely disrupted and reshaped how the cycling industry approaches digital media.
Created and ran two beverage brands for nearly a decade, developing products from concept through manufacturing, distribution, and retail placement. Multiple brands, including Propel and Burn Energy Drink, sold in six-figure deals.
Built a network strong enough to secure partnerships with nearly 60 brands for a blockchain-based venture — based purely on a concept, a pitch, and trust earned over decades of delivering results
Created and hosted a 75-episode podcast interviewing top founders and marketers like Noah Kagan, Jordan Harbinger, Phil Keoghan, and more, distilling real-world entrepreneurial lessons and growth strategies. Built an engaged audience of entrepreneurs and creators.
I've never taken the conventional path. After years in ad agencies, I walked away from the corporate world to build things on my own terms. I've launched brands out of my garage, grown a blog into a global media leader, created sports nutrition products, started the Southeast's largest annual 24-hour mountain bike race, and hosted industry summits.
I'm a father of two who structures his life around freedom and adventure. I've ridden bikes in Iceland, Japan, South Africa, Chile, and all through Europe, the US, and Canada. I've traveled the world with my family and earned a global network I now call friends. I've built every business with the same philosophy: life is too short to play it safe, and work should fuel the life you want — not the other way around.
That same restless energy drives Squirrel Fitness. I see 100+ million people who've been left behind by an industry obsessed with hardcore athletes and complicated programs. I'm building the solution.
Whether you're a fellow founder, a potential collaborator, or just someone who believes fitness should be for everyone — I'd love to hear from you. The best things I've built started with a conversation.
