If You Don’t Try, The Result is Always Failure

I thought of this on a recent bike ride. It’s a spin on one of my favorite phrases: “If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.”

The surest way to get what you want is to ask. Then act. And the surest way to do what you want is to try. The surest way to not, is to not.

Have you tried something new today? Do you have an idea for a product? Or service? Or just some small (or grand) adventure?

What’s stopping you from trying? Could you take just one small step today and see what happens? I bet you can. Baby steps are better than no steps. There’s nothing stopping you but you. And who knows, maybe it’ll work! But I guarantee if you don’t try, you’ll fail.

And the “not trying” failure is the worst kind of failure because you don’t learn anything from it.

So, what will you try today?
